Back Macules

Extensive maculopapular rash on the back of a 60 year old man of Southeast Asian descent living with stable treated HIV. This rash extended to the upper buttocks, flanks and pubic region and was accompanied by isolated lesions on the extremities, face and chest.
This photo was taken six days after illness onset, which had involved fever, chills, malaise and headache. Other isolated skin lesions had emerged two days prior.
