description:

Prominent pustular lesions with early central umbilication on the shaft of the penis of a 50-year old HIV-negative cisgender white man. These lesions were his initial symptoms and were initially treated with liquid nitrogen for possible molluscum contagiosum shortly after presentation. They were accompanied by fever and pharyngitis two days later. This image was taken 10 days after lesion onset. He had not received MVA-BN vaccine but had a prior history of smallpox vaccine as a child.
