Maculopapular rash on lower back and buttocks

Extensive maculopapular rash on the lower back and buttocks of a 60 year old man of Southeast Asian descent living with stable treated HIV. Isolated vesicular lesions are also seen. This rash extended to the back, flanks and pubic region and was accompanied by isolated lesions on the extremities, face and chest. This photo was taken six days after illness onset, which had involved fever, chills, malaise and headache. Other isolated skin lesions had emerged two days prior.
